The National Education Foundation’s (NEF) 100 student no cost K-8 Academic Pilot Program has received an amazing response. In response to the positive conversations and desire to help schools, we have opened another grant window for this promotion.

The goal of our NEF STEM+ Academies is to better prepare students for college and the workforce. That means providing students with core skills in ELA and Math which provide a foundation for dealing with complex, real-world problems in STEM areas in our society. Our core (K-8) SuccessMaker software and our data value adds have been the primary tools for ensuring that this foundation for STEM learning is solid. As you know around the nation (NAEP, 2019), students in grades 4 and 8 scored lower overall compared to 2017. We are here to help with this challenge.

NEF is inviting interested schools/districts to submit an application the support! Requests will be considered as they are received. We strongly encourage the submission of requests before December 13, 2019. The participation of schools/districts whose students are underserved is strongly encouraged.
